The Great Outdoors

At Crosby Nursery, staff value the importance of outdoor play and learning. The great outdoors is the very best place for children to practise and master emerging physical skills. However outdoor play has much more to offer than physical skills, we see our outdoor as an extension of the indoor learning environment. During their time in our care all children will enjoy outdoor play and learning whatever the weather. Children enjoy wearing rainproof suits and wellies to splash in puddles and when its sunny they develop their understanding of sun safety by wearing their sun hats and putting sun cream on.
